I started photography in the 1900s — back when film, darkrooms, and patience were required. What began as a way to support my fine art studies quickly turned into an obsession with one thing: capturing moments that only exist once.

Today, I photograph motorsports, equestrian events, and real-world action with the same goal I had back then — to preserve effort, emotion, and motion exactly as they felt in the moment.

I look for the moments most people miss:

  • The breath before judge's whistle blows
  • The focus before the green flag drops
  • The split second of exhaustion, pride, or relief
